Missouri business owners learned how to identify and prevent ergonomic injuries in their workplaces at recent full-day safety seminars. Missouri Employers Mutual and Peak Ergonomics partnered to present “Full Spectrum Ergonomics” in Columbia and Cape Girardeau.
“Whenever MEM can join with Peak to do a seminar, we jump on the opportunity,” said Mark Woodward, senior safety & risk trainer for MEM. “Strains and sprains are a top cause of employee injury, and any ergonomics seminars we can offer to our customers will only help reduce the impact of those injuries.”
MEM partners with Peak Ergonomics two to three times per year to conduct similar safety training and to present at other safety conferences, and they have done so for the past 10 years. Mark conducts an average of 150 training events each year for MEM customers and event attendees.
